BAconn is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once installed:

  • Dedicated app icon on home screen / dock
  • Full-screen window without browser chrome
  • Push notifications for sync errors (even when the app is closed)
  • Faster launch because layout and scripts come from the browser cache
  • True offline mode for status changes, availability, and interview notes — see Working offline

Important limits: first-time login, BA sync, billing, and new records (jobs, candidates) still require a connection.

Android (Chrome / Edge / Samsung Internet):

  1. On /dashboard, click "Install as app" in the top-right header
  2. Confirm "Install" in the browser dialog
  3. Icon appears on the home screen

iPhone / iPad (Safari, iOS 16.4+ for push):

  1. In Safari, tap Share at the bottom (square with arrow)
  2. Pick "Add to Home Screen"
  3. Confirm the name → BAconn icon appears
  4. Enable push under My account → Push notifications

Desktop (Chrome / Edge):

Address bar → small plus icon, or browser menu → "Install app". BAconn opens in its own window without browser tabs.

Login persists: after install, you stay logged in for 7 days. Device restart, app close, or battery drain all survive — only "Logout" or clearing browser data signs you out.

Multiple devices: install BAconn on phone, tablet, and desktop simultaneously — each device gets its own push subscription.
